Accessibility and Availability

Neighborhood

The West Loop is a foodie mecca. An explosion of excellent eateries have taken over this former industrial area, turning the historic warehouses into some of the city’s hottest restaurants. A former meat-packing district, the West Loop has become one of the most dynamic dining destinations in the city. In particular, a stretch of Randolph Street known as Restaurant Row is where you’ll find many of the neighborhood’s most celebrated spots, from high-end tasting menus to hidden ramen joints to fourth-generation sandwich shops. The West Loop is also home to Greektown, a bustling enclave overflowing with traditional restaurants, bakeries, and delis, and the National Hellenic Museum — the second oldest American institution dedicated to Greek culture. Nearby Fulton Market has a cool industrial vibe that bursts with activity, thanks to tons of trendy restaurants and bars that have taken over the old warehouse spaces. Between meals, you can explore the West Loops’s art galleries, cool shops, and boutique hotels. Check out the year-round Randolph Street Market for unusual vintage and antique finds. In the summer, the market heads outdoors with live music and pop-up bars. Head to walk-up window at BomboBar for Instagram-worthy desserts to go. Order a round of crispy pig face at Girl and the Goat where Top Chef winner Stephanie Izard runs the kitchen. Try one of the best burgers in America at refined diner Au Cheval — it’s worth the wait.

We had a great time at this apartment. The location is fantastic, with easy access to the subway and within walking distance of many restaurants. Also nice to have parking. I highly recommend Beatrix, which we and our kids ate at several times because it was so convenient and tasty. The only thing that went wrong with our stay was that there was a strange smell of sewage in the apartment when we arrived. It was coming from one of the main-floor bathrooms. I think this is an ongoing issue with the whole building, because I also smelled it outside, near one of the restaurants. Seth said there is a way to mitigate it by pouring water down certain pipes, and I think the cleaning crew will try to be more proactive about doing so going forward. It didn't end up being a huge problem for us because we were out and about for most of the day, but Seth offered us a discount without us asking, which I appreciated.

Perfect place in the West loop. Everything was on point and the place matched the online description. Its in the heart of West Loop on Fulton street close to many great restaurants. There is an large private outdoor area which is also nice. Close to the highway and public transportation. If you choose this place you will be pleased!

Seth’s place was great. It’s conveniently located in Fulton Market near a lot of great restaurants. The home was very clean and free of clutter, and the back patio with gas fire pit was a great plus. In addition, Seth was a very accommodating host which was a big help for us. The area can be a bit noisy at night, but we would recommend this great Airbnb.

We had a wonderful stay in a perfectly appointed townhouse! We were in the city for our daughter's wedding weekend and Seth's place was conveniently located for all the festivities. We've stayed in many airbnbs and his home is one of the best. The space itself is gorgeous and modern. Plus he's thought of every amenity you could need - from an ironing board to high chair (that we didn't need). We made great use of the well-equipped kitchen and living areas - fully stocked and lacking nothing! The home is pretty quiet considering the active location, and the parking can't be beat. Great place to get ready for the big days - and unwind afterward.

Just a perfect home away from home. This home was exceptional with all necessary accommodations and wonderful private patio. The location cannot be beat if your aim is walkability and proximity to cafes, restaurants, bars but also feels private and quiet at same time. Hose was exceptionally responsive and accommodating. Would absolutely stay here again on any future CHI trips.

The renovations are really well done. This is a great place to stay when visiting Chicago. Lots of natural light, comfortable bed and a great shower. Also, some of the softest rugs I've encountered at an AirBnb! Walkable to shops, restaurants and bars. Highly recommend staying here.

My husband and I rented Seth’s place for a weekend in Chicago with friends for an overdue post-elopement celebration. The space and Seth’s hospitality exceeded expectations! First, the space is stunning. All amenities and more were working, easy to find, and the space was super clean and private. We had 4 friends stay with us, and it’s plenty of space for 6 adults. The rooftop is such a beautiful space in the evening to hang out. Beds were very comfortable. Second, Seth was an awesome host! He was very proactive, gave some great suggestions in the neighborhood, and responded promptly to all messages. I’ve stayed at many AirBnB properties, and Seth was such an exceptional host! Would happily stay here anytime we’re back in Chicago!
